Dear Parents ,
Kindly note that our school will follow the following evalutation for Std 1st  to Std 8th from now onwards according to the directions given in the latest Government Resoultion.

Every child will be assessed on two categories. They are i) Formative ii) Summative Formative is the assessment done over a period of time and summative is done at the end of the term or year. The ratio of the two differ from class to class . It is as follows:

Aggregate will be taken twice a year each for 100 marks and only grades will be issued for each subject in the Report card . At the end of the year , the average marks of both the terms will be calculated and the Final grade will be given in the Report Card.
Herewith we are giving you the 8 tools that will be used for the formative Assessment. The subject teacher may use any of the 5 tools mentioned below:

Eight tools to be used for Formative Assessment:

1. Daily observation
2. Oral tasks (question answer , comprehension , reading , elocution , interview , group discussion)
3. Practice / Experiments
4. Activities (5 per term)
5. Projects (One per term)
6. Home work / class work (essay writing, letter writing, descriptive writing, composition)
7. Unit test or Open book test
8. Others (Questionnaire, self – study, group activity)
